Identity & Role Rehabilitation (I.R.R) is the official school of thought of The Greater Undoing (TGU). A scientific creation and development by TGU founder and lead clinician Anwar Johnson, I.R.R is a theory synthesized from America’s most imminent psychologists, philosophers, and historians fashioned as its own original praxis aimed at thwarting the ever-present master-slave dynamic in our daily lives.

What is Cyclical Reasoning?

Through I.R.R, clients will have an opportunity to explore themselves, their miseducation and trauma. Identity & Role Rehabilitation works to investigate one’s specific mental health issues through the process of “Cyclical Reasoning” examined over (9) different areas of people activity.

“Cyclical Reasoning” is exploration and transformation of one’s neurochemistry, logic, thought, speech, emotional response, and perception across 6 domains of relational existence compromised by White Supremacy.

  • Self - feelings and behaviors towards one’s self

  • Home - feelings and behaviors towards self, parents, siblings, physical state and conditions of home, extended family, etc.

  • Work - feelings and behaviors towards self, co-workers, supervisors/administrators, HR, maintenance, reception, etc.

  • School - feelings and behaviors towards self, classmates, teachers, school counselors, principals, other staff workers, the school setting itself, etc.

  • Community - feelings and behaviors towards self, strangers, friends, and all social classes and and occupations of people that walk this planet.

  • Romantic - feelings and behaviors towards self and partner

I.R.R functions as a framework reference for treating individuals experiencing issues not limited to the following problem areas: Addiction, Alcohol/Substance Abuse, Abandonment, ADHD, Adoption and Foster Care, Anger Management, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Body Image, Compulsive Behaviors, Career Difficulties, Coping w/ Life Changes, Control Issues, Communication Problems, Commitment Issues, Depression, Disorganization, Dependent Personality, Divorce and Separation, Eating and Food Related Issues, Family Problems, Forgiveness, Grief/Loss, Guilt/Shame, Infidelity, Loneliness, Low Self-Esteem, Lying, Panic Attacks, Procrastination, PTSD, Prejudice/Discrimination, Racism, and Suicidal Ideation.

Core Principles of I.R.R:

  • I.R.R is an approach that focuses on how individuals are in response and in resistance to systems that govern society. The Greater Undoing understands White Supremacy as the systemic social control formation of America’s ruling class elite. The “White Race” is an “all-class association of European-Americans held together by ‘racial’ privileges conferred on laboring class European-Americans relative to Black/ Indigenous Americans. It is the basic, most prevalent and historic, form of class collaboration in this country.

  • I.R.R explores the injunction where a human to human interaction becomes a master-slave power dynamic. As a result of American colonial society being erected from slave labor and sophisticated mechanisms of social control, this master-slave power dynamic is way of life in America. A power dynamic is operationally defined as any relationship when we act not as ourselves, but as utility so that others can be themselves. When mastery and slavery become way of life, it recreates itself out of its initial power dynamic and into all binary relationships. Binaries explored range from but are not limited to parent-child, worker-boss, student-teacher, player-coach, man-woman, boyfriend-girlfriend/husband-wife/co-parent-coparent, white-black, reality-perception, and therapist client.

  • I.R.R is a unified field theory meaning that it is not simply a psychological dissertation but one that ranges across all academic disciplines.

  • I.R.R focuses on investigating what an individual knows about themselves and avoids assuming what individuals do not know about themselves.

  • I.R.R teaches that who an individual is for one’s self is a completely different relationship than who one is for others. Whether as a son/daughter, father/mother, husband/wife, worker, student, or platonic friend, these relationships are treated as extensions of one’s self and not the total expression of an individual.
